Food not so good prices all ala cart was not told for breakfast 2 people 34.60 charged extra for toast that come w eggs in every diner around. Go Elsewhere. Beware.

Always great service! We have eaten here for almost 20 years for Easter breakfast. Very accommodating especially with our 30 member family!

We went for an early Sunday breakfast, despite very uneven reviews online. I thought it felt like a local version of Friendlys or IHOP, solid but honestly nothing special. Our food was good, the service was fast, and the place seemed clean, but we've discovered more interesting places around. For these 4 meals, 2 small OJ, 1 large OJ, and a coffee, the bill came to almost fifty bucks.

I had breakfast there, it was very good. I'm sure all there other offerings are good but breakfast is my favorite meal.

Sunday morning at 6:30 am I was starving. I drove to Middletown pancake house to have a good breakfast. It has been a few years since the last time I've been here. I ordered a Omelette w/ corn beef, pancakes and a side of Turkey bacon. Boy was that a great meal if only the plate was edible. Great service, the service was great, not a long wait. I need to go back soon.👍👍👍👍👍

Very yummy pancakes with a good children's menu.

Food was good and the server was nice and attentive. However, there was a wait line and there was barely any space for us to wait. If we waited outside, we couldnt hear us being called. If we waited inside, you were 9/10 always in someone's way. I

Good diner by any measure, particularly good if you are a celiac. Bananna bread French toast (special item) was great and I had no unpleasant issues.

I have never eaten at a worse breakfast place in my life. Myself and my husband went on Memorial Day before work and were EXTREMELY disappointed with the food AND the service. Biscuits and gravy... GROSS. Scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes....HORRIBLE. So overpriced as well!!! We weren’t sure that you could ever really screw up breakfast but this place should win an award for that! How can this place ever pass any inspections? It’s a real hole. Save your money and your time, your better off going to Panera up the road

They have amazing pancakes! My waiter seemed a little distracted while interacting with me but seemed to give a lot of attention to the table in front of me.

You get what you pay for. Price is cheap... So is everything else. Bland food, watered down coffee, seems like they refill their Heinz ketchup bottles with something else, decor incredibly dated, etc. Way better options in the area. Needless to say, not going back...

My experience at Middletown Pancakes was awesome! As a family of 60 members we were able to successfully celebrate a very special 95th. Birthday of one of our most cherished relatives. The service was supendished, the food was plentiful and delicious. It was a wonderful place to share our many years of love with each other. Most grateful for such a wonderful occasion.

Nice people and good food. You should find something you like on the menu.

This review is based on three visits in the past two months. My girlfriend is guten free so this place is good for her, however I feel they need a new chef or someone competent in charge. They cannot cook a fried egg, the biscuit gravy contains no flavor, no sausage, not even pepper, the potato pancakes again lack flavor. The kiler is the place is busy!!!! Is there that many Area people that have not discover a better place?! I have stated my displeasure to the owner and the wait staff and nothing is ever done. Sad

Former employee and I can tell you there the owner runs the restaurant a little weird like all the ice cream and desert are all expired. There is mold all over the fridge and they reuse the coffee of customers unfinished coffee jugs. Food is mediocre and way overpriced like a porkroll and egg sandwich with no cheese is $9 there and it isn’t even that good...

We got an almost empty pot of cold coffee and refused to switch 2 French toast for 2 pancakes.....how hard is that to do?This is after I decided to give them a second chance after they served my boyfriend chocolate milk in a glass that had lipstick on it in a previous visit.

Server was miserable. Food wasnt terrible but it wasnt good either.

Always a good breakfast to be had here. My wife and I go one or two Sundays a month. Excellent pancakes, service has always been good, staff is always friendly, and the food usually comes pretty quick unless they are slammed.

It was super good! Gluten free pancakes with nutella and strawberries and whipped cream were good, same with the yogurt with fruit

The pancakes here are great. I love everything about this place. The food, staff, the atmosphere. I definitely recommend them if you're in the area. I rate them above any other pancake joint out there

They have the best gluten free pancakes we've ever had. Also their waffles too! Couldn't believe they were gluten free. They were very careful and accommodating with our other food allergies too. Peanut, tree nut, soy, egg....We highly recommend this place!

The coffee is good and I love the chocolate chip pancakes. The process aren't the best but it's cozy and the food seems to be good.

Love coming here for breakfast. They have excellent crepes and compotes, as well as their Benedict dishes. It's a quaint little place, but has really great food. Family friendly!

Disappointingly average. Draws crowds however. Fairly cheap. Boyfriend's pancakes blueberry pancakes had few blueberries & were just ok. Food presentation pretty dull. But crowded on Sun mornings all the time. We're not revisiting.
